From Mary Beth:
So the company has launched, our website is live, and the biggest question we keep running across is…why junkdrawer?
Ah. Why indeed.
I’ve long been obsessed with junkdrawers. They are a fascinating window into people’s lives
It all began when I started traveling with Trading Spaces. House after house, I’d need those little basics only found in that kitchen junkdrawer: paper clips, pens, menus, highlighters, rubber bands, and scissors. I found all the little things that you wouldn’t necessarily travel with but were essential to my task at hand.
When it came time to create a name for our company, to us there was no better way to describe what we had set out to do…
-A junkdrawer keeps together the odds and ends that help you with the task at hand. They’re always there when you need that little somethin’ to help take a project to the next level.
-Junkdrawers unify scattered objects. Because of junkdrawer those random odds and ends have a place to call home.
-Junkdrawers are universal. They are found whether the homeowner is rich or poor, whether a home is big or small. I once found a junkdrawer in an ancient castle!
-A junkdrawer says a lot about the person who lives in that abode. Organized, messy, creative, austere. You can get a glimpse into a soul just by looking at their junkdrawer.
-Junkdrawers can be considered high art! Check it out here!!
That’s why we love junkdrawers so much.
They help define who we want to be, the company you turn to in order to take that project to the next level. We hope to keep your message paper clipped together when communicating your brand and help your consumer take a peak into your corporate soul.
