Greetings from the intern desk at Junkdrawer Media! My name is Katie, and I am Leslie and Mary Beth's new intern. I am extremely excited to be working with such talented and amazing people such as Leslie and Mary Beth. Things have been busy here at Junkdrawer headquarters, and I am going to fill you in on what we've been up to...
Last Thursday, Junkdrawer spent the day in Pennsauken, New Jersey at Delta Paper to shoot a video for their environmentally-friendly packing material PaperNuts.
We had a great team of people working together to shoot the Charlie Chaplin-esque video. Since the shoot was done at the Delta Paper warehouse, the set is 100% authentic and will look awesome when the video is edited together.
Our two actors, thanks to our makeup artist Kym, look like they could have been right out of the original
Modern Times, don't you think? Kudos to our actor Randall (Charlie) who somehow kept his mustache glued on even though it should have melted off in the 100 degree weather we had. And a big thanks to Steve, one of Delta Paper's own, for being the nicest villain there ever was.
The directors for the shoot were Victor (pictured above in blue) and Maureen (below in pink) who knew exactly how to make their vision come through during the shoot. Our talented cameramen Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. couldn't have been better to work with. And of course, Mary Beth and Leslie kept everyone moving along and are working on post production as we speak!
Overall, it was a very successful shoot and all involved were extremely grateful to be able to take a shower when they got home. Make sure you check back in with us again soon and as soon as the video is finished, we will be sure to show you the finished product.
With Love,
Junkdrawer Media
